Inception

SOFTEL is a company in Bangladesh engaged in Telecom & IT sector business. The company was established in 2004 and had since been involved in import & export of telecom hardware & software along with other activities. Lately the company has set its footing on the Business Process Outsourcing industry.

Activities & Partners

• After being established at 2004, started to represent ASCOM Power systems. Later on ASCOM was taken over by DELTA and hence became local agent for DELTA Power systems and its affiliates for Bangladesh Telecom market.
• At the same time we became local partner of GNB battery of India, which is a US based company. Globally they are renowned as EXIDE brand.
• Since 2007, mobile handset accessories with brand name neo is marketed by SOFTEL in Bangladesh, manufactured in China with own design & QC.
• In 2008, SOFTEL became a partner of D.T.C. Enterprise Co. Ltd., Thailand in Bangladesh as a distributor of VTS (Vehicle Tracking Systems) solution using GPS & GPRS.
• Since 2009, Emerson Network Power (China) worked with SOFTEL on Renewable Energy Solutions for Bangladesh market.
• In 2010, Emtelle UK Ltd. & SOFTEL joined hands to market fibre ducting, fibre blow solutions & access chambers for access networks & FttH solutions in Bangladesh.
• SOFTEL is working with Rosenberger in Bangladesh since 2005 to market its GSM/CDMA Antenna, TMA, MCPA, Site Solution Materials, etc. Products.
• BPO Call Centre license is acquired by SOFTEL from BTRC (Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission). However the operation has not started yet.
• Represents all the product range of DELTA Power Solution India Pvt Ltd, Rosenberger, ROXTEC, BSB battery, AmaraRaja Battery, ELTEK industrial products for Bangladesh market.
• Since 2017, SOFTEL has started a Distribution Network in Khilgaon Residential Area, Dhaka which is currently under partnership with KB Foods Ltd, Deshbondhu Food & Beverage Ltd and TK Group (Pushti Brand). The area covers Khilgaon (A, B & C Block), Goran, Reazbag, Hazipara, Sepahibag, Tilpapara and some portion of Bashabo.
• Since 2018, SOFTEL is working as distributor of Nagad Bangladesh.
